Buddy
July 6, 2005
Buddy was a birthday present to his mama, Karen. When she went to the breeder’s home to select her puppy, there were two little male Shih-Tzus puppies that were available for her to choose from. Though she was initially drawn to one of the puppies, the other little puppy kept tugging and biting at Karen’s shoestrings and fingers. In a few short minutes, he also had wormed his way into Karen’s heart. Buddy went just about everywhere with his forever parents, including to work with his daddy until he decided to bark all the way through a funeral service. Then Buddy had to stay home on days there were services. Buddy was a wonderful big brother and taught many of his tricks to his half-brother, Baxter. Together they were inseparable and the day Baxter accidentally got shut in the bathroom, Buddy tried his best to scratch through the door to save his brother. Buddy was lovable, smart, loved Pup-peroni’s, knew his toys by name and was especially fond of his toy froggie. He loved to play outdoors and was very protective of his little sister, Katy. It has been said that the first born is always special and our Buddy was no exception. Buddy was deeply loved, will forever be missed, and will live in our hearts forever.
